FROM THE ARCHIVE

A life in sound.

TASADI reflected in a fractured mirror

It started with a mix CD from a record store in 1999.

Tranceformer: The Uplifting Mix was the beginning of a life in electronic music for Taha Asadi. TASADI became the identity for that musical journey: emotional melodies, progressive movement and a lasting fascination with otherworldly sound.

The System.

In 2009, the debut artist album The System arrived on Lost Language. Conceived as a journey through the solar system, it gave the music a larger canvas. The System: Rebooted and Exhibition: Century extended that chapter.

New connections.

The following years brought Time Ticks Away with Nhato on Spinnin’s Tone Diary, and Lost Garden with Aryas, heard on Armin van Buuren’s Essential Mix and A State of Trance. The catalogue also includes official remixes for Gareth Emery, Solarstone and Luminary.

Starsphere and beyond.

Starsphere opened another artist-album chapter, with contributions from Christina Novelli, NUMA, Susie Ledge and more. Later releases include Sirena, I Would Do Anything and Higher With You with Sarah de Warren, and Hung Up with Ørjan Nilsen.

The thread that continues.

The history matters because the music continues. TASADI’s new chapter explores sound, science and imagination while keeping the emotional, melodic identity at its centre.
